Feuei Tola, hailing from Sicily, embarked on an artistic journey that transcended borders, starting with her studies in Decoration at the Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo, followed by pursuits in Barcelona, where she delved into Artistic Creation and earned her doctorate. Her time in Spain, alongside her Sicilian roots, broadened her horizons both personally and professionally. While influenced by Barcelona’s cultural scene, she found her true artistic voice through installations, blending materials like X-ray plates with captivating elegance. Her works, characterized by expressive force and a unique gesture, reflect her diverse interests in literature, psychology, and sociology. Tola’s art is intercultural, bridging experiences into the everyday phenomenology of life, where spatiality and temporality merge seamlessly with emotions, colors, and materials, culminating in a robust and original artistic proposal.
